Crab Champions League – Summer 2022–23

After a hugely successful inaugural season, the Crab Champions League is back for another summer.

What’s better than a kick around in the parklands on a warm summer’s evening followed by an ice cold beer?

Keep your fitness and form up over the summer with a semi-serious football competition.

Invite your friends, everyone is welcome.

  • Interested players, registrations are now open

  • Registrations close 19 October 2022

  • 2 teams will be created: Blue Crabs vs Green Crabs

  • Captains Alan Bradshaw (🔵Blue) vs Darren Steele (🍀Green)

  • Captains will alternatively select players from the list of registered players

  • Season will run from Oct 26 – Dec 14 2022 then resume Jan 18 – Feb 1 2023

  • Teams will be announced on the club Facebook page before Gameweek #1

  • Teams will be fixed but, new players are welcome and will be added to each team alternately

  • Pitch and goal size will be based on number of registered players.

Registration & fees

$55 registration fee to be paid before first match into the Masters beer kitty bank account.

New players will need to pay a $80 bond to hire a playing kit, this will be refunded upon return of the playing kit.

Funds buy a slab of ice cold beer to drink after the match.

Jan 18 – Feb 1 2023

The team that wins the most matches will be named Crab League Champions.

Major prize = bragging rights until next summer.
